Welcome to Wildshot Photography.

 

My name is Grant Crowe, I am a self-motivated photographer living in New Zealand who gets a buzz out of life by photographing wild animals. Chamois, Tahr, Deer, Wild Pigs and Scenic shots at close range and sometimes a bit too close!

 

There's just something about being at altitude waiting for the sun to warm one's feet, camera gear ready and binoculars up at my eyes, glassing everything and anything, checking one gully after another. Sometimes in vain, sometimes in the rain, sometimes in the sun, waiting for the right one.

 

It's all about light, film, lens, camera and the understanding of what makes it all tick. The talent for the stalk and close to just a few metres. Every photo I have taken has a memory.
